Q. How long does it last? It lasts 3 to 6 months depending on the water quality and cleaning frequency. The filter can also be cleaned. You would know when it is due for cleaning when the water flow rate reduces. We have in the package an abrasive paper used for cleaning the filter. After the filter’s lifespan you only have to buy the replacement filter, you don’t have to buy the full set again.

Does it work on Salty water? It does filter salty water but does not change the taste of water since it is caused by dissolved minerals.
